PREVENTING FURTHER DAMAGE
To help assure your safety and prevent further damage to your property, a Chubb claim representative can dispatch emergency mitigation services to your home.

CHUBB CLAIM ADJUSTER
A Chubb Claim Adjuster will contact you after your loss has been reported to Chubb.
A Chubb Claim Adjuster will be your primary point of contact during your claim. The adjuster will guide you through your claim and is available to answer all your questions.  The Chubb Claim Adjuster will ask questions related to the extent and cause of damage to your property.  Should an onsite inspection be necessary, an appointment will be set for a mutually convenient time. He or she will review all information and your policy to determine coverage, and will ask you to obtain estimates for repairs or will arrange for one of our preferred vendors to provide you an estimate.

YOUR REPAIR PROCESS
The length of your claim will depend on the extent of repairs and the availability of contractors. You have the ability to choose your own contractor or we can refer you to one of our preferred vendors in your area. If additional covered damage is identified after repairs have begun, these repair costs will be added to your claim payment.

KEEPING YOUR AGENT INFORMED
Your agent or broker is an important part of your relationship with Chubb, and we automatically send your agent updates on the progress of your claim.

VIEW YOUR CLAIM DETAILS ONLINE
If you are a Chubb Personal Insurance policyholder and have registered your accounts online, you can view the details of your claim by logging into your online account and then clicking the “My Claims” tab. There you will find:

  • Your claim reference number
  • Status of your claim
  • Payments made
  • Your claim adjuster's contact information
