Medical Device Manufacturers Association Broadens Its Endorsement of Chubb

WARREN, NJ, May 24, 2010 - The Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) has expanded its endorsement of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies as the preferred property and casualty insurance provider for its members.

In 2009, MDMA endorsed Chubb's clinical trials liability, errors and omissions, products liability and professional liability insurance. The expanded endorsement includes all lines of property and casualty insurance, including professional and management liability coverages.

"Chubb consistently demonstrates its ability to understand the unique risk management and insurance needs of medical device manufacturers and to serve our member companies exceptionally well," said Mark Leahey, president and CEO of the MDMA. "We are pleased to expand our relationship with this highly regarded insurer."

Philip Fiscus, senior vice president, Chubb & Son, and worldwide manager for life sciences, Chubb Commercial Insurance, said, "We are excited to provide an expanded array of endorsed products to MDMA members. Insurance for MDMA members is available through Chubb's network of independent agents and brokers. MDMA members may be eligible for premium discounts.
