Jeffrey M. Goodz,

Jeffrey M. Goodz is an Attorney in the Employment Practices Liability Group of the Florida House Counsel firm of McGuinness & Cicero. Prior to joining Chubb's House Counsel, Jeff practiced with a number of large, mid-size and small firms focusing on all aspects of employment law. Over the course of nearly 25 years, Jeff has provided advice and consultations as to how to avoid workplace-related issues such as sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, violence in the workplace, defamation, and wage and hour disputes such as minimum wage and overtime claims. He is experienced in resolving employment conflicts arising under virtually all federal, state and local employment laws prohibiting discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, violence in the workplace, defamation in the workplace between employee and employer, and wage and hour disputes, including, but not limited to, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Florida Civil Rights Act, the Florida Minimum Wage Act, and common law claims. When preventive measures do not or cannot obviate the need for litigation, Jeff has a wealth of experience litigating all forms of employment matters in both state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies.
