Matthew G. McLaughlin is the Managing Attorney and leads the Casualty Practice Group of the Atlanta House Counsel firm of the McLaughlin Law Firm. Prior to joining Chubb's House Counsel, Mr. McLaughlin was a partner at Hawkins, Parnell, Thackston, & Young in Atlanta. Matthew has litigated a wide variety of cases including professional liability, products liability, premises liability, consumer protection, deceptive trade practices, motor carrier and medical malpractice cases in state and federal courts throughout the state of Georgia. In addition, he has defended cases litigated in the Multi-District Litigation setting. Throughout his career, Mr. McLaughlin has litigated cases in the trial and appellate courts. He currently defends all types of casualty liability cases including premises liability, products liability, professional liability and other commercial disputes.
