Matthew J. Schueler is the managing attorney of Schueler, Dallavo & Casieri. He has a wide range of experience in civil litigation in the State of Illinois. He has extensive trial experience with medical malpractice, product liability, director and officers litigation, errors and omissions matters, professional liability, association liability, commercial litigation matters and general court litigation.
Since establishing the firm in 2000, Mr. Schueler has been active in the recruitment and staffing of the firm with highly qualified attorneys to handle litigation matters assigned to it by Chubb claim offices throughout the United States. In addition, Mr. Schueler has actively marketed the firm to new clients, new claim offices and Chubb Services as well as continued to enhance marketing efforts with his existing group of clients.
Mr. Schueler has been active in the coordination and development of a national Employment Practices Liability practice amongst the Chubb House Counsel offices in an effort to facilitate more effective and efficient communications between the House Counsel offices and Claims on practices, procedures, and substantive law, as well as to raise awareness of House Counsel's EPL capabilities within Claims and Underwriting. The Chicago House Counsel office has also been active in serving as a national and local liason for major Firm clients/Chubb insureds, and works closely with assigned Chubb claims offices, claims business consultants and underwriting, in contributing to a multi-faceted approach to client service and retention.
Prior to founding Schueler, Dallavo & Casieri, Mr. Schueler was a partner at Bollinger, Ruberry & Garvey, where he specialized in general insurance defense, medical malpractice and product liability work for over 10 years.
