Michael T. Wilkos is an attorney in the Employment Practices Group of Chubb’s New Jersey House Counsel firm of Kirmser, Cunningham & Skinner. Mr. Wilkos currently represents management in employment litigation, with particular emphasis on the defense of employment discrimination, wrongful termination and whistleblower suits.
Prior to joining Chubb’s House Counsel, Mr. Wilkos was Counsel at a New Jersey law firm where he handled employment, personal injury, and tax litigation for municipal and private clients. Mr. Wilkos has also served as an independent investigator for claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation and has otherwise provided counseling to employers on employment matters, such as workplace training to prevent harassment, employee handbooks and policies, and reasonable accommodations for disabilities.
Mr. Wilkos graduated from the University of Delaware, magna cum laude, in 2008, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. Thereafter, he attended Seton Hall University School of Law, serving on the Seton Hall Law Review. After completing his legal education, Mr. Wilkos served as the law clerk to the Honorable Rochelle Gizinski, J.S.C. in the Superior Court, Civil Division, Ocean County Vicinage.
