Hillary A. Fraenkel is an Attorney in the Financial Lines Practice Group of the New York City House Counsel firm of Eustace, Prezioso & Yapchanyk. With 16 years of civil litigation experience, Hillary consistently delivers results and effective client service as counsel for insurers and their policyholders in employment defense, legal malpractice claims, condominium E&O and D&O claims, agent and broker E&O claims, construction injury claims and professional liability claims.
Hillary's practice is focused in the areas of employment law, professional liability, legal malpractice, real estate litigation, professional negligence, construction litigation and construction site personal injury matters and products liability. These areas involve the defense of a variety of professionals in both State and Federal Courts, including business owners, contractors, attorneys, accountants, real estate management companies, title companies, title searchers and directors and officers.
Hillary's specific practice includes the defense of allegations of violations of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act or "Whistleblower Act," the defense of Title VII claims, the defense of Fair Labor Standards Act claims, the defense of NJ and NY Wage and Hour claims, the defense of Class and Collective Actions, the defense of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims, the defense of Tort claims, defense of cases asserting the Charitable Immunity defense, the condominium claims both E&O and D&O, legal malpractice defense, agent and broker malpractice defense, complex commercial litigation and Labor and construction litigation. Hillary also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution methods such as arbitration and mediation. She has successfully resolved numerous cases through alternative dispute resolution methods.
Previously she handles cases involving reinsurance, first party property actions and third party liability actions. Hillary graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1981, with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and marketing. In 2000, she graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, New York. Hillary participated in Cardozo's Accelerated Entrance Program, completing las school in 2 1/2 years.
