Steve Roberts, Division President, Chubb Tempest Re International
Steve Roberts was appointed Division President of Chubb Tempest Re’s international business, formerly ACE Tempest Re, in April 2010. He is responsible for all operations in London, Zurich, and Shanghai. Based in London, Mr. Roberts oversees the overall management and development of Chubb Tempest Re’s property and casualty reinsurance business in these territories. He reports to James Wixtead, Senior Vice President, Chubb Group, and President of Chubb Tempest Re Group.
Mr. Roberts joined ACE Tempest Re in 2005 and has served as Deputy Managing Director of international operations since 2008. Prior to joining ACE Tempest Re, Mr. Roberts held a number of senior assignments with XL Re, where he served as Chief Casualty Underwriter, and various London-based Syndicates.
