Charlene Syrett, Property Underwriting Manager, Chubb Bermuda International
Charlene Syrett is the Property Underwriting Manager for Chubb Bermuda International (CBI), with overall accountability for production, staff management, and strategic direction.
Ms. Syrett joined the London office of what subsequently became CBI in 2002 as an underwriting assistant for all core lines of business. She was promoted through the CBI underwriting ranks, specializing in Property, where she built productive relationships with clients and brokers alike in various parts of the world, including the Asia Pacific region.
Before joining Chubb, Ms. Syrett worked for five years with Lloyd’s syndicate and London market companies. She is accredited as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and was awarded the Shepherd Prize for Best Exam Paper in 2006.
