These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of MyAccount and contain important information about how any personal data you provide will be used. Your use of MyAccount constitutes your acceptance of these Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time without notice.

General

You must only use MyAccount for the purposes described in these Terms of Use. You must not use or attempt to use MyAccount to:

  • corrupt, damage or interfere with any Chubb or third party data, software, hardware, website or information technology systems;
  • send any offensive, inflammatory, defamatory, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful information or information that infringes third party rights;
  • adversely affect the reputation or public image of Chubb;
  • knowingly or recklessly provide information to us which is inaccurate;
  • cause annoyance or inconvenience to Chubb or any third party.

You acknowledge that Chubb can terminate your use of MyAccount if Chubb reasonably believes that you have breached these Terms of Use.

Use of MyAccount

In offering the MyAccount facility, Chubb is making available to you the ability to view and update your account details, view your policy information, submit claims and access certain other online services which Chubb may make available from time to time.

You are reminded that you are solely responsible for providing us with true, accurate and complete information. Any failure to fully and faithfully disclose all facts which you know or should know in respect of your Policy could render the policy void.

You are responsible for the confidentiality and use of your Username, PIN and any other security information. You understand that any person with knowledge of your Username and PIN will have the ability to access your account information in MyAccount.

If you suspect a security breach may have occurred, you shall immediately notify us at +65 6299 0988. You shall also immediately notify us if there are errors or discrepancies in your account, statements or transaction history.

If you fail to notify us as outlined above, neither Chubb, nor any of its employees, affiliates, or subsidiaries, will have responsibility or liability to you arising from such failure to notify in a timely manner. You accept full responsibility for the monitoring of your account.

Personal Data & Privacy

During your use of MyAccount, you may provide personal data including your:

  1. email address;
  2. telephone number;
  3. other personal data to do with your Policy with us.

In providing Chubb your personal data, you give consent and authorisation to Chubb to collect, use, disclose, and/or process your personal data without further notification to you confidentially with our affiliated companies, third party service providers, business partners and/or other parties, which may be sited outside Singapore, for administering policies taken out with Us, handling claims and customer services including MyAccount maintenance. If you are submitting information relating to other individuals, you must ensure that they are aware of how their personal data will be handled as described above.

Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited is committed to the protection of your personal data. Chubb collects, uses, discloses and retains your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our Privacy Policy. Disclaimers

Chubb is not able to guarantee that you will have continuous access to MyAccount or that it will be fault free. Chubb will not be liable in the event that MyAccount is unavailable to you for any reason including upgrades, preventative or remedial maintenance activities, further Chubb reserves the right to suspend or terminate the availability of MyAccount at any time.

These MyAccount Terms of Use are in addition to the Terms of Use relating to your use of Chubb’s website generally.
