New role a perfect fit for Jade

Dunedin-based Jade Meddings, has recently been appointed Distribution Supervision Manager. 

Jade’s 21 years of industry experience has included ANZ, Cigna and Chubb Life Business Management and Insurance Adviser roles. Most recently Jade led a small team in Otago before moving into a quality assurance role in the Risk Assurance team. 

Drawing on this experience Jade sees the supervisory role as a great next step:

“As the Distribution Supervision Manager, I’m looking forward to supporting Insurance Advisers and improving the way we provide advice to the bank channel. We can achieve this through assessment, quality insights, coaching to improve, developing and maintaining frameworks, being mindful of legislative requirements, all while keeping the customer at the centre of what we do.”

Jade takes pride in her passion about the importance of the service that our Insurance Advisers provide and the benefits we offer. 

“I’m really excited about being able to continually support this process as part of my new role.”

Outside of work, Jade likes to spend time with her family.

“When I’m not working, I love spending time with my two sons – Boston (10) and Wyatt (2) and being a passionate “side line parent” at their basketball and rugby games.”

She’s also a big music fan who likes to spend time in the kitchen and the great outdoors: “I especially enjoy singing despite my kids telling me to stop at times.

Lately I’ve been getting into baking and of course I love all there is about the lifestyle we enjoy in Otago.”
