Expenses Cover

Also known as Income Protection, Expenses Cover provides the comfort of knowing you can pay your essential bills if you were unable to work as a result of an injury or illness.

Why choose Expenses Cover?

Your ability to earn is your greatest financial asset. How would you manage financially if you weren't able to work?

Expenses Cover can help pay your living costs by providing a regular monthly payment, so you can focus on your recovery without worrying about how you’re going to pay the bills.

Cover includes:

  • A monthly payment for up to two years if you get an illness or injury that impacts your ability to work or take care of yourself.
  • Premium Cover which will pay the total premium needed to continue your Life & Living policy while we are paying your claim.
  • If you receive any other income for your illness or injury, including ACC payments, we won’t reduce your monthly sum insured.
